New findings suggest that a Toxoplasma gondii parasitic infection in mice could make them permanently fearless of cats. Toxoplasma gondii is an obligate, intracellular, parasitic protozoan that causes the disease toxoplasmosis. Toxoplasma gondii is capable of infecting virtually all warm blodded animals.
